Over 5000 square miles of flying fun!  The largest flying regions of any R/C simulator – created from hundreds of MB of satellite imagery and digital elevation data. You may run out of fuel before you run out of new scenery to explore. Over 10 unique airfields to fly at!

Backgrounds that are anything but static!  Generation 3 goes far beyond the 2-dimensional, “billboard” look of other simulators. It‘s a living, breathing environment – fliers can immerse themselves in the realism! Trees sway in the background; clouds on the horizon follow the path of the prevailing winds; glare increases and subsides in relation to the position of the sun. Background objects even reflect off of the aircraft.

They all agree that aircraft on G3 fly more realistically than ever before – in fact, this simulator sets unprecedented standards for accuracy in exciting high alpha flight!

Break-apart aircraft!  As is the case in real R/C flying, modelers may shear a wing off of their aircraft if they are too careless. The aircraft continues its flight, while accurately reflecting the lost parts.

Accumodel – An easier and more powerful Aircraft Editor!  Any modifications that a pilot wants to make to a plane are graphically represented on the wire-frame model, and reflected instantly on-screen – just as the sound will change when swapping a 2-blade prop for a 3-blade, or changing pitch or diameter.

Unparalleled collision detection!  Unlike other simulators that have just a few collision points, Generation 3 utilizes a triangle-to-triangle, impulse-based micro detection system that “blankets” the entire aircraft with a network of collision detection points.

Superior wind modeling!  Instead of just one general wind field for the entire simulation, G3 features five wind fields to account for even the smallest detail! As winds collide, the strength and direction vary accordingly, and airplanes and gliders will feel the “bump” as they approach the top of the mountain or hill.

Top-notch teaching!  The Virtual Flight Instructor (VFI) has been expanded and enhanced to include additional maneuvers for pilots of all skill levels. Experienced modelers will be able to learn high alpha 3D aerobatics from world-class pilots.

FlexiField – Airport creating that‘s easy to use!  With “drag-and-drop” simplicity, modelers can create entirely new airports using the mouse and just a few keyboard strokes. Includes hundreds of objects to choose from!

360° “walk-around” preview option!  After the selected plane appears on screen, it revolves continuously. Using the mouse it can be viewed from any angle. When changing trim schemes, you immediately see the alternate model in the preview box.

The InterLink Plus controller is new and improved!  The Multi-Mode feature on the InterLink Plus controller allows you to connect an additional InterLink or standard radio transmitter to the simulation! A push-button on the InterLink Plus controller allows for rapid, keyboard-free model reset.

Split-screen capability!  G3‘s split-screen capability takes advantage of the InterLink Plus‘ Multi-Mode function. Multiple players on the same PC can fly together or conduct personalized training sessions.

Heads Up NavGuides!  The NavGuide display allows you to view flight information right on the screen, including Altitude, Air Speed, Heading, and more. There are dozens of options that can be displayed.

MultiCam - Change viewpoints quickly and easily.  View the action from anywhere you wish. MultiCam enables multiple Picture-in-Picture views looking at the same plane from different angles, an alternate view of the field, viewing different aircraft altogether, or anything you choose! Resize and position these anywhere you like on the screen. And with a simple click of the mouse you can change the camera angle of any viewpoint, including the main screen.

G3‘s new InterLink Plus controller can function as a controller, an interface or both — an innovation that allows two pilots to fly on the same screen. Connect a second InterLink Plus (or R/C transmitter), choose Multi-Mode flight — and the monitor switches to a split-screen view. You can practice formation flying or other competitions, participate in free flight, play “tag”, provide a friend with real-time feedback as they learn — or simply enjoy the pleasure of flying with a buddy.
